Spring Basic Actor Combatant Certification
This workshop will offer over 60 hours of training in Unarmed, Single Sword, and Staff, culminating in the opportunity to test for certification with The Academy of Fight Directors Canada. Ideal for students with limited stage combat experience, those looking to build a strong foundation of the basics, and those looking to begin their certification journey.
Classes will run April 6 – May 23, 2026. Monday & Wednesday evenings from 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm and Saturdays from 12:30 pm – 4:30 pm.
Location: Morpheus Theatre Society, 3512 5 Ave NW, Calgary, AB
Tuition: $1,100*
– Early bird discount of $100 available for students who register before December 1, 2025.

A minimum number of registrants is required for the class to run. The cut-off date to confirm minimum registrants is Feb 20, 2026.
* $120 FDC registration is not included with tuition ($75 for current post-secondary students).
