Summer Intensive Basic Actor Combatant Certification
This workshop will offer over 60 hours of training in Unarmed, Single Sword, and Staff, culminating in the opportunity to test for certification with The Academy of Fight Directors Canada. Ideal for students with limited stage combat experience, those looking to build a strong foundation of the basics, and those looking to begin their certification journey.
The workshop runs August 4 – 14, 2026. Training days are Monday through Saturday (Sunday 9th off).
Location: Morpheus Production Centre – Bay E, 1155 44th Ave SE
Tuition: $1,250*
– Early bird discount of $125 available for students who register before June 1, 2026.

A minimum number of registrants is required for the class to run. The cut-off date to confirm minimum registrants is July 3, 2026.
* $120 FDC registration is not included with tuition ($75 for current post-secondary students).
